The Windsor Public Schools Administrative Offices share a building with the L.P. Wilson Community Center. The WindsorMore Public Schools system consists of Roger Wolcott Early Childhood Center, Poquonock School, Clover Street Elementary, John F. Kennedy Elementary, Oliver Ellsworth Elementary, Sage Park Middle School and Windsor High School. In total, the system serves 4,000 students.

Windsor High School provides public education to more than 1,400 students. Students are able to participate in variousMore varsity and junior varsity sports. Athletic teams include, but are not limited to, football, soccer, volleyball, track, and lacrosse. Students are also able to participate in art and music programs. WHS provides a widespread Advanced Placement curriculum to academically qualifying students. Foreign language courses and extracurricluar activities such as clubs are also available for student participation.

The school has more than 400 students and provides them with various scholastic programs and a 10,000-volume library. The school is also equipped with a networked computer lab and athletic fields. Oliver Ellsworth hosts a semi-annual book fair and a Family Fun Night and has a student-run school store. The school is named for the third chief justice of the United States Supreme Court, who was born in Windsor.

The school specializes in education that prepares its students for participation in a technology driven society. It serves grades 9 - 12 and has about 400 students. Pathways focuses on accepting and educating students that are on track to attend college. It aims to provide an educational foundation for college and professional careers in such fields as animation, graphic design, software programming and computer forensic science.
