Services include life skills training, case management and education services in an attempt to give those with vision loss the ability to gain independence. BESB also offers volunteer opportunities for those that would like to help the visually impaired.

Trinity Christian is a non-denominational school, providing Christian-based education to children beginning at ageMore three. Trinity has a preschool (ages three and four), a full-day kindergarten program, and an elementary school (grades one through five). With a preschool that was started in 1961, and an elementary school that began in 1995, Trinity has been educating youth for decades. The school continues to provide students with a broad curriculum, including education in arts, music, foreign language and computer technology. Before and after-school programming is also provided. The school is a ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church, with which it shares a building.
