“As a mother with school age children - I am committed to strengthening the educational system for our children and community.  It is clear that the foundation for academic success begins within the home, and it is the responsibility of the education system to continue fostering achievement through building a partnership between parents, teachers, and the overall community.  It is time to work together and develop a shared vision to eliminate barriers that minimize the opportunities for our children to achieve success.”
