Personal Statement

“We need a more responsible, responsive, and respectful Town Council.  The recent lack of transparency and ‘scolding’ of citizens is uncalled for, and shows lack of respect for the people and the Office.  The Citizen’s demands cannot continue to fall on deaf ears and be ignored or treated with arrogance.  Four Budget referendums (3 too many) clearly says the majority is out of touch.  The current example of Detroit and their fiscal situation is going to be a reality for many more towns, cities and states unless we band together and become courageous about our future.”  John reminds us, “It takes a village” to make the tough decisions for the future of our children.”
