Cross Endorsement

As many know, the slate of Republican Candidates were crossed endorsed and allowed to be placed on the Independent line by the Independent Party of Connecticut - State Central Committee; however, the Independent line is no longer on the ballot.  That being said, the prior posts were removed.
 
To clarify: this cross endorsement was not meant to be misleading, quite the opposite, it was actually a great and humbling honor for our exceptional candidates, to be looked at by another party and endorsed because of their expertise, values, commitment and connections to our community.
 
Just as the Independent Party of Connecticut looked across party lines, and past a specific party, to the individual people themselves, we encourage you to do the same. In a time when partisanship is at an all time high, it is refreshing to see unity among different parties. These outstanding candidates are highly qualified individuals and truly love Windsor. We hope you get to know them personally, see their excitement, passion, value, and realize why they are the leaders we need today.
