In September, Windsor Social Services will launch a "dry run" of a "new and exciting project" and partnership with Bloomfield-based Foodshare: a mobile food pantry.

In order for the truck to run smoothly and serve Windsor families, Social Services is in need of volunteers. Distribution on the truck that will operate throughout the calendar year will take place outside, and volunteers will lift and distribute food.

Following a scheduled "dry run" in September, the truck will officially open in October.
