2013 Bridge-Builder Honorees To Be Recognized

The 2013 Windsor Bridge-Builders Honorees have been announced and will be recognized at Windsor Town Hall Ceremony


The Town of Windsor’s Human Relations Commission has selected the names of the 2013 Windsor Bridge-Builders Awards honorees which will be recognized at a Town Hall Ceremony on November 20th. 

All town residents and businesses are invited to a special celebration on Wednesday, November 20th in the Council Chambers on the lower level of Windsor Town Hall at 275 Broad Street. An hors d'oeuvres reception will begin at 6 p.m. and the awards presentation will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended and a $10 donation would be welcome.

The Windsor Bridge-Builders Award was created 18 years ago to honor individuals, organizations and businesses that make an outstanding contribution to human relations in Windsor. It is sponsored by the Town of Windsor’s Human 
Relations Commission which works to foster greater trust, understanding, and solidarity across the full spectrum of Windsor's racial, ethnic, and religious diversity. This year’s winners were selected for innovative contributions to individual in the community. This year's winners of the Bridge-Builders Award include Windsor High Teacher/Advisor Ms. Jennifer Anderson; former 2013 graduate Mr. Brian Casanovas; community volunteer Ms. Jane Garibay and Ms. Rosemarie Miskavitch.

Now is the time to reserve a seat at the event by calling Diane McDougald at (860) 285-1984. Invitation forms are available at the Town Clerk's office in Town Hall, at the Main branch and the Wilson branches of the Windsor Public Library.
