Dinner on the Farm

An exclusive Peasant Dinner by Vito's Restaurants - served ON THE FARM!

Perhaps you're one of the many people that have attended our Chef Dinners at Vito's by the Water or Vito's by the Park lately.  If so - thank you!  They've been quite the success...selling out VERY quickly.

So we decided to take it to the next level...and host a dinner right on one of our farms.  The dinner will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 6pm at our farm on 677 Rye Street in South Windsor.

1st Course - Antipasti
HOMEMADE HERBED RICOTTA CROSTINI
Dressed with an apricot marmalade.  De parma prosciutto, burrata cheese, roasted tomato and fresh basil.
Paired With Bella Fiore - Lemoncello, St. Germain and Cielo Frizzante Rosato

2nd Course  - ZuppaTuscan Ribolitta (Bread Soup)
Garnished with shaved parmigiano regianno and housemade truffle oil.
Paired with Bella Costa Prosecco Brut NV - Veneto, Italy

3rd Course - Insalata
INSALATA DI POLPO (BABY OCTOPUS SALAD)
Served over arugula, fennel and roasted peppers with a lemon garlic vinaigrette.
Paired with Mazzoni Bianco ‘11 - Tuscany, Italy

4th Course - Paito Principale
PORCHETTA AND POLENTA
Slow roasted pork shoulder.  
Served over a creamy polenta with roasted carrots.
Paired with Tenuta Toscana Caburnio ‘09 - Southern Tuscany, Italy

5th Course - Dolce
FARM FRESH FRUIT TORTE
Served with farm-grown berries.
Paired with Deseado Sparkling Torrontes NV
