On Saturday, October 20, 2012, nine local chefs competed at Vito's by the Water in Windsor for Round One of So You Think You Can Cook. You can see video interviews of those chefs and our local judges by clicking here.
We've finished editing our first videos for Round One and we want to share them with you today. One of the chefs is even a local cafeteria manager from a school right here in Windsor!
On Sunday, November 11, the final four competitors will compete at Vito's by the Water in Windsor to enter into the finals. In this competition, they'll have 45 minutes to make an appetizer and an entree using mystery ingredients.
The final two will move on to compete in the grand finale, where they'll have 60 minutes and a bag of mystery ingredients to prepare an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
The grand prize is a farm-to-table dinner, prepared by the winner and Rob Maffucci for 10 family and friends. Second prize is a four course dinner for six.
The chef (out of all nine) with the most views on their interview video receives a $250 gift card!
