Beer to Bacon - The Ultimate Farm to Table Experience

Bacon.  It's one of the most popular and glorified foods in the country.  It seems as if everywhere you look, it's there in one form or another.  Bacon popcorn.  Bacon t-shirts.  Bacon chocolate.  Bacon is to Homer Simpson as shrimp was to Forrest Gump.

Our crew at Vito's by the Water LOVES bacon - and we also love beer.  So when we found that the crew at Back East Brewing, the new brewery right down the road from us, also loves beer - it was a match made in....well....the kitchen.

Vito's by the Water and Back East Brewing are partnering up to host Beer to Bacon: The Ultimate Farm to Table Dinner.  It will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, November 14 at Vito's by the Water in Windsor.

Here's what makes it even cooler.  After Back East Brewing is done making their delicious beer....they donate the used grain to a local pig farmer.  The pig farmer fattens up some delicious pork.  We are using his pork....along with local veggies and cheeses...and Back East Brewing's beer....for a 5-course, beer-paired dinner.
