Concert, Read on the Green Postponed in Windsor

With strong thunderstorms that could include large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain predicted for tonight, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce has postponed its events scheduled for tonight on the town green.

The "Beatles Forever" band is now set to perform on Tuesday night, July 31. The Read on the Green Grass event, meant to help promote literacy in young children, has also been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 31.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon, but some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. The service has also issued a flash flood warning for the region starting at 4 p.m. through Friday morning.
