Windsor Relay Teams Take Top Seeds at State Open

The Warriors are hot off a third-straight sweep of the Class L state championship meet.

Both boys and girls track 4x100 relay teams earned the No. 1 seed in Monday's state open championship.

Both relay teams recorded first-place finishes at the recent Class L state championship, propelling the Warriors to their third-straight sweep of the championship meet.

Shaina Blamahsah, 100-meter dash, No. 8
Sashana Hinds, 200-meter dash, No. 7
Sydnee Over, 400-meter dash, No. 2
Melissa Wolliston, 100-meter dash, No. 2; 300-meter dash, No. 8
4x100-meter relay, No. 1
4.400-meter relay, No. 5

Boys

Tikuan Johnson, 100-meter dash, No.6; 200-meter dash, No. 6
Brian Sappleton, 200-meter dash, No. 2;  400-meter dash, No. 4
Kahlin Bolden, 400-meter dash, No. 6
Rashad Ramsey, 300-meter dash, No. 6
Sherrod Peay, long jump, No. 7
4x100-meter relay, No. 1

*Windsor resident and Northwest Catholic runner Jared Delane is the No. 1 seed in the 300-meter hurdles, No. 3 in the 200-meter dash and No. 10 in the 100-meter dash.
