Windsor High Alumnus Gets NFL Invite

A former Windsor High School football star has been invited to compete for a spot on the Green Bay Packers, the Hartford Courant reports.

According to The Courant, 2007 graduate Justin Wilson, was invited to attend Packers training camp to vie for an open slot vacated by several injured players.

Wilson, the son of current Windsor High girls track coach Ron Wilson, worked out for the Packets in May, and will now have an opportunity to earn a spot on the team, The Courant reports.

Following his years at Windsor High under former coach Mark Welch, Wilson went on to become a star wide receiver at Delaware Stare University.
