Windsor Boys Extend Win Streak to 15

The Warriors are on a roll after their fifteenth win Saturday night against Weaver.

Windsor boys basketball have continued their winning ways. The Warrior defeated Weaver at home last night, 97-63.

The win is Windsor's fifteenth in a row, making their season record an impressive 16-1.

The last time the Warriors lost was December 18 against Glastonbury in Weaver's Doc Hurley Classic.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about Windsor's streak is the fashion in which they've won their games.

Windsor has smothered teams with aggressive defensive play, allowing an average of 51 points per game, while scoring an average of 83. Windsor has won its 16 games by an average of 34.5 points, allowing no more than 63 points in any contest.

Their lone loss was by three points.

With three games remaining in the regular season, Windsor, ranked sixth in the state by Courant.com, look to finish out strong.

The will travel to East Hartford and Weaver, two teams they have beaten, and host Middletown in their final home game on Feb. 18.

Middletown is 10-7.
