Windsor Athletes Make Town Proud in CT Hall of Fame Football Game

The all-star game features the top high school senior football players in Connecticut.

Several Windsor athletes represented the town Saturday in the first Hall of Fame Classic Military Bowl at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.

The summer football game, which was organized by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association, included some of Connecticut's top high school football seniors from this past season.

Jim Buonocore, of Ledyard, coached Team National Guard to its 15-14 victory. Windsor's Rob Fleeting coached Team Marines. Windsor's Scott Jenkins served as one of the assistant coaches.
