Good News: Windsor All-Stars Make History

Windsor's 9 and 10-year-old softball all-stars have done something no other team of its kind has done.

Windsor's 9 and 10-year-old girls softball all-stars have made history. The team of 12 girls has become the first Windsor squad to win back-to-back championships.

The girls did so in their recent tournament, beating Coventry in the semifinals and skating past Stafford in the finals. The girls beat Stafford, 9-7, to take home the title.

Prior to the elimination rounds, the girls averaged 14 runs a game, while allowing an average of just two runs a game.
