South Park 5K Road Race

Registration: 7am; Race Time: 9am.  The 15th annual South Park 5K Road Race and Fitness Walk will take place at the University of Connecticut Health Center.  Live music, food, and great prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for male and female runners in each age group.  Register online for $15 or on race morning for $20.

The proceeds from the race benefit the UConn School of Medicine and Dental Medicine Outreach Clinics at the South Park Inn, which provide free primary care medical services to the transient residents of South Park Inn Shelter located in Hartford, CT.  The free clinics are run by medical students, dental students and local physician volunteers.  Proceeds from the Road Race will benefit the UConn School of Medicine Outreach Clinic by providing support for day-to-day operations and experiential learning programs for medical and dental students at the South Park Inn (or other such locations as determined by the School).
