Former Windsor Warrior Kymm Gordon has signed to take his athletic talents to the University of New Haven.
The former Windsor High tailback and 2012 graduate spent the past semester at Milford Academy (Berlin, NY), but has arrived on campus in New Haven to begin his collegiate career, he said Friday morning.
Gordon has signed on to compete in indoor and outdoor track, as well as football.
"It's close to home... and both programs are going in the right direction," Gordon said.
This past season, Gordon's talents were utilized in a multitude of ways, playing running back, receiver and running the wildcat formation. He was recruited as an athlete for the University of New Haven, and said he's eager to fill whatever role his new coaches want him to play.
Cole Ormsby, named the Courant's defensive player of the year, also made a commitment to play on the next level recently.

According to Yantz, Ormsby's commitment to the Huskies also represents a change of mind. Ormsby verbally committed to the University of Massachusetts in June, Yantz reported.
