Windsor Students Recognized for Reading to Achieve

Students from Poquonock and Clover Street were recognized on court at a Springfield Armor game at Springfield's MassMutual Center.

Clover Street and Poquonock School students enjoyed a moment under the spotlight Saturday when they were brought on court at Springfield's MassMutual Center and recognized for completing their Read to Achieve program.

The National Basketball Association's Developmental League  team Springfield Armor partnered with the two Windsor schools recently to promote reading, and entice them to do so with a reward: the grand prize of tickets to see the team play.

Students were able to take a lap around the court and meet Springfield Armor mascot Steal as they were cheered on by audience members.
