Significant snowfall early Wednesday morning has caused school officials to call for a snow day.
Windsor Public Schools announced Wednesday morning that all schools in the district will be closed.
The announcement came following a few inches of snowfall early Wednesday morning, which is expected to continue to accumulate throughout the morning before being mixed with rain.
The is the first snow day of the year for Windsor Public Schools students.
