Warriors Stay Unbeaten with Win in MA Tournament

Windsor beat New Bedford (MA), 98-71, Wednesday.

The Warriors have kicked off the 2011-12 basketball season on a hot streak, winning their fourth consecutive game to stay unbeaten with a 98-71 win over New Bedford (MA) in the BABC Holiday Classic in Chelsea, MA Wednesday.

According to ESPN Boston, Windsor built an 11-point lead by halftime, and led by 26 before the end of the third quarter.

Andrew Hurd finished with 20 points, including four 3-pointers in the third quarter, ESPN reported.

Five Warriors finished the game in double figures.

The win exemplifies Windsor's offensive power this season — they've scored 95 points or more in three consecutive games, including 107 points in a win over Southington on December 22.

Windsor will host Glastonbury on Tues., Jan. 3 at 7 p.m.
