Warriors Move Up to No. 4 in State Poll

Windsor is ranked No. 4 in the state in the Courant's latest poll; No. 6 by Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance.

Windsor Warriors football have moved up to No. 4 in Courant.com's state football rankings, having been ranked No. 5 for several weeks.

Windsor (8-0,5-0) made the jump due to New Canaan's fall from grace after its first loss to Stamford since 1971, according to The Courant.

Windsor's spot on Courant.com's area poll has held steady right behind Xavier, ranked No.1 in the area and the state, since the season's outset.

The Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance moved Windsor up from No. 7 to No. 6 in the state as of October 31.
