Warriors Football Represented in Governor's Cup

Two Windsor High players and one coach were on the roster for the matchup between Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Connecticut triumphed over Rhode Island to win the Governor's Cup for the ninth straight year yesterday at Southington High School.

Shoreline Times reports that Connecticut ran away with the contest, winning by a score of 37-6. But it was also a win for Windsor, as three Warriors were represented on the Connecticut squad.

Brian McClain and Tyrick Thomas earned spots on the all-star team along with assistant coach Tyrone Abrahams.
