Vote to See Windsor Football on TV

Connecticut residents can vote online to have one of four high school games broadcast as part of NBC Connecticut's Game of the Week series.

There's a possibility Windsor's football game against Middletown on Friday could be televised on NBC Connecticut, but the undefeated Warriors will need the support of fans to make it happen.

Each week, the network sends a camera crew to shoot a "game of the week," which will be shows as a part of a segment during Friday night's sportscast.

To help decide which game will be shown during the sportscast, NBC gives its audience the opportunity to vote on-line for favorite of four possible games.

This week, there are four match-ups that can be selected for possible airtime during the upcoming segment: Middletown at Windsor, Norwich Free Academy at Montville, Staples at Trumbull, and Xavier at Shelton.

Windsor currently trails the Stables/Trumbull game by just over 10 percent of all votes.

With a record of 5-0, Windsor will face its toughest test yet in a one-loss Middletown team that lost its first game of the season last week against Hall (4-1).

The game will be held on Friday and is Windsor's homecoming.
