Soccer Night in Windsor

Free admission is being offered to travel team players who wear their jersey.

Tuesday is officially "Soccer Night in Windsor." Both boys and girls Windsor high soccer teams will host Weaver under the lights at Jack O'Brien Stadium, and the night's festivities have been organized to welcome all soccer fans in town.

Admission will be free for travel team members who wear their jerseys to the game.

Windsor's 11-year-old teams will also play during half time of both the girls' and boys' games.

The girls are 1-5 on the season, picking up their first win and goal of the season (scored by freshman Amanda Santos) against a visiting East Hartford team. The girls will play at 5:00 p.m. 

Boys soccer, 1-4-1, opened the season with a big, 5-1 win over Middletown, and it is looking to improve on the season with a win over Weaver at 7 p.m.
