Snow Days Extend Windsor School Schedule
Hurricane Sandy and February's blizzard contributed to the district pushing back the last day of school.
June 24 was set as the last day of school at this week's Windsor board of education meeting.
Graduation for Windsor High seniors will be held the same night at the Bushnell.
The date is six school days and ten calendar days longer than initially scheduled — a delay that can be attributed to snow days.
The last day of school was originally scheduled for June 14.
According to the district calendar, two of the six make-up days can be attributed to Hurricane Sandy. Another two can be attributed to February's blizzard.
