School District Administrator, Williams, Resigns

Following an investigation of a special education grant, Windsor Public Schools' business manager has resigned, the Hartford Courant reports.

Williams submitted his resignation after an investigation revealed "a significant mistake" with respect to a federal special education grant the district received, the Courant reports, citing Superintendent Jeffrey Villar.

Prior to his resignation, Williams was placed on paid administrative leave, along with the district's director of pupil services and special education, Jody Lefkowitz.

Williams, according to the Courant, will remain in Windsor in a per dim capacity until his position is filled, according to the Courant.
