Robotics Competition Brings Area Students Together

The Suffield Shakedown was held on Saturday.

Teams of students from throughout North Central Connecticut and beyond gathered at Suffield High School Saturday for the 11th Annual Suffield Shakedown, a FIRST Robotics scrimmage.

The friendly competition was the first of the season for many teams, who spent the past six weeks building and programming robots to compete in a basketball-inspired match of electronics and wits.
