Replacement Board of Education Members Announced

Richard O'Reilly and Kristin Ingram were approved by the board.

1. On Tuesday evening, the Windsor Board of Education voted to approve Richard O'Reilly to replace former democratic member of the board, and vice president, Christopher McAuliffe. McAuliffe submitted his resignation to the board in June.

2. The board also voted to approve Kristin Ingram to replace former republican member of the board David Gay. Gay submitted his resignation to the board in June, citing that his family is moving from the town of Windsor.

3. The board accepted the resignation of democratic member of the board Lucille Brown after four years of service.

5. Showers are likely and thunderstorms are possible today. Temperatures should peak in the upper 70's, and drop into the mid-60's tonight, according to National Weather Service reports.
