Photos: Poquonock Students Show Off Toy Inventions

Students showed off their homemade toys and games at the toy invention convention.

Students, beginning in grade one, displayed their homemade toys and games Tuesday at Poquonock Elementary School's Toy Invention Convention. The kids worked on their ideas for almost two weeks. Many different kinds of toys were brought in, from handmade dollhouses to monster trucks and rocket ships. The students crowded around favorites like the marshmallow launcher and the aluminum foil ball toss. Children were able to play with one another's games as well as show off their own creations.
