Opening Reception - Student Art Show

Thursday, March 31 is the Opening Reception for Windsor Public Schools Student Art Show. 

All Windsor residents are invited to come and preview the entire exhibit at a special Opening Reception on Thursday, March 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall. Complimentary refreshments will be provided by the Windsor Public Schools Food Service and the Windsor High School String Quartet will perform. Admission to this event is free and reservations are not required.

The Windsor Public Schools Student Art Show will feature a wide variety of mediums including: drawings in graphite, markers, colored chalk, and pen and ink; watercolor and tempura paintings; collages; stitchery; printmaking; weaving; prints of ceramic work; and mixed media. This marks the seventh year that the Art Show will be on display at Town Hall. Prior to that time, it was held for decades in the nearby Windsor Public Library.

Artwork will be on display at Town Hall from April 1 through April 26.

The creativity and talent of local students will be celebrated at the annual “Windsor Public Schools’ Student Art Show” from Friday, April 1 through Tuesday, April 26 in Windsor Town Hall at 275 Broad Street. More than 100 original works of art by students in kindergarten through Grade 12 will be on display at no charge on both the Main level and in the Council Chambers on the lower level. Windsor Town Hall is open on Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
