Courant Moves Warriors Up to No. 5 in State Football Rankings

After a 47-20 win over Bristol Central, The Courant's statewide football poll has Windsor as No. 5.

According to The Hartford Courant's state football ratings, Windsor is the fifth best team in Connecticut.

The No. 5 ranking is a move up from No. 6 for the Warriors (2-0. 1-0), who posted a 47-20 victory over Bristol Central Saturday thanks to stellar performances from Quinn Fleeting and Aaron Berardino.

North Haven dropped from No. 4 to 6 after surviving a 28-25 win over Hamden.

Windsor remains the No. 2 team in the area, behind Xavier, which the Courant ranks No. 1 in the state.
