Boys, Girls Hoops Pick Up Road Wins
The Lady Warriors beat Capital Prep in Weaver's Doc Hurley Classic Thursday.
Play at Weaver's famed Doc Hurley Classic opened Thursday, and the Lady Warriors (3-1) provided fans with an instant classic as they overcame an eight-point deficit at halftime to beat Capital Prep, 46-43.
The win is the team's second in a row, and will provide some quality momentum before they return the the hardwood at Windsor High to host South Windsor December 19.
The boys also came away with a win on the road.

The Warriors opened their season Wednesday night at E.O. Smith., posting a 77-50 victory.
The boys (1-0) will play East Hartford in the Doc Hurley Classic at Weaver High School Sat., Dec. 17 at 8:30 p.m.
