The Windsor board of educaiton will hold a special meeting Thurs., Jan. 3 to address the upcoming evaulation of Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Villar.

The meeting comes just one week after evaluation subcommittee members agreed upon an evaluation format to present to the entire board.

According to meeting documents, the superintendent evualuations subcommittee, which was formed as a temporary body to identify a tool used to evaluate Villar's performance, decided to stick with the district's traditional evaluation process.

The decision to use past practices to evaluate Villar's process was made due to a short period of time to complete the evaluation, meeting documents say.

Past practices will be presented to the board of education Thursday evening, and the board will then vote on the process through which the superintendent's performance will be evaluated.

The special meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in L.P. Wilson's Room 17 on Thurs., Jan. 3.
