Artistic Talent Shines at WHS




Windsor High School held its annual juried art show Wednesday evening, honoring some of the schools most talented students and handing out a few scholarships along the way.

The 2013 senior exhibit award winners are as follows:

Board of Education Purchase Prize: Ashod May, "Organic Synthetic", painting

Superintendent's Choice Purchase Prize: James Moran, "Japan", pen and ink

WHS Purchase Prizes: Allison Flores, "The Waves", photography; Andrea-Lijoy Shields, "Legacy", photography

Chamber of Commerce Purchase Prize: Kazia Krakowski, "Lake II", painting

Photography Award: Andrea-Lijoy Shields, "Legacy"; Marissa Dembkoski, "The Traditional Turkish Wedding"

Drawing Award: Ashley Walsh, "Materialistic"

Design Award: Allison Flores, "The Waves"
