Tomorrow the Voters Have Some Choices

Vote Row B to send a message.

Tomorrow we get to vote at all our polls in Windsor, which will be open and operational.

The voters get to make a decision. They can vote for the same old, as has been suggested by another poster, or they can vote for change.

The Town Council side of the ballot has few issues; however, we should all vote for change as our president and governor said a few short years ago, and change the leadership on the Town Council. I will grant there are no major issues on the Town Council side of the debate, however change can be a good thing.

The Board of education is the real issue this year. The majority has been opposed to, school uniforms (something almost all parents want!), accountability, and allowed per-pupil costs ($19K/pupil gross) to balloon in light of a reducing student population, and they have made excuses.

If you think lower test scores as has been discussed in these forums, and higher per student cost at multiples of the rate of inflation is acceptable, then keep doing the same thing. If you feel otherwise, then it is time to vote for the Republicans on Row B.

Lastly, if for no other reason, if you disagree with the job Governor Malloy is doing with his 'let the taxpayers share the sacrifice,' as he gives out longevity pay bonuses, then its time to send a message and vote Row B.

Walk into the voting booth, take your ballot and mark the boxes on Row B and send a message that will be heard in Hartford, and in Washington.

It is time to change the party in control:  I respectfully request your vote for myself and my fellow Republicans on Row B.
