Town Councilors Can You Check with Kenosha WI Town Hall & others about Amazon

Is the town council asking the questions as to what Amazon has contracted for abatement over in the other towns they are in & someone call Kenosha WI to see what they are planning to offer? There are some towns that have given no Abatements or Fee Reductions so why should we offer 60% abatements when Amazon has to come here?

Amazon is offering more for pay to those projected 1000 jobs starting salaries expected to be $13.00 + benefits for their full time people  - quote from the article "Prozanski said the company plans on creating more than 1,000 full-time jobs. He said the average starting pay will be around $13 per hour."http://www.620wtmj.com/news/local/Its-true-Amazoncom-wants-to-come-to-Kenosha-226691691.html

There are reports of Amazon not being good to it's employees & using a lot of Temp Workers with high turnover rates what are they going to do to ensure that we have Full Time Permanent workers & Proper Safe Working Conditions In Place at the start? http://www.businessinsider.com/brutal-conditions-in-amazons-warehouses-2013-8

I haven't had the time to read through the town council minutes for Oct 7th to see what was being offered by Kenosha WI but the link to their city website is http://www.kenosha.org/council/gran_link.html - the Oct 7th meeting is referenced as having had their offer rejected in their Oct 21st Agenda item number K3 on page 6

I suggest that Town Council slow down & make Amazon give us some of the details about the tax abatements & deals that they have made with both recently built & soon to be built warehouse/distribution centers especially the Kenosha WI as well as their contract for their soon to be built warehouse/distribution centers in other places in the USA & even in other countries like the announcement to build in Israel.

Why are the starting wages for the Kenosha WI location higher than what will be offered here in CT?

Since there is known history of Amazon employing majority Temp Workers via it's Temp Services Dept what will Amazon be doing here in Windsor - Full Time Permanent or the Temporary Employee which works full time but is let go on 90 day cycles so that Benefits are not needed to be offered?

Is Amazon being given both State as well as City tax breaks in WI like they are demanding here in CT?

Why should Windsor give the maximum abatement and fee reductions, especially in light of the State Money that Malloy gave them for coming here to CT in the 1st place?

Amazon is building warehouse/distribution centers in several places - Amazon needs to start selling us as to why we want to have them here in Windsor - we know that Windsor has the best to offer in this region so why are we selling Windsor short at the expense of the homeowners & property tax payers?

Tractor trailers cause extra road wear potholes etc which ruin our cars & increase the need for road repair - not to mention the headaches of traffic jams & the increased potential for car accidents

Our home values are being driven down each time the town council adds new industrial & high density housing units onto the tax rolls - if the town council is going to insist upon forcing our wonderful small town into becoming a dirty city full of highrises & deisel trucks then at least make the best deal possible to be a benefit to the tax paying homeowners who will be burdened with paying for the roads, fire & police service expenses that will increase due to these
