Question - Why is the focus on the Race Based EER Study Rather Than Common Core?

It is quite disturbing to see by the repeated showing on cable public access channel 5 the repeated showing of the NAACP ads promoting the EER study rather than the promotion for Parents to get Active in Helping their children do well in schools & pushing for Senator McCrorey to actually do the State Level Study with CT Colleges.

Why is it that the people "Claiming" to be concerned about the "Student Achievement Gap" are promoting a study which does not help the children at all; but these very same people are not warning the parents about the inherent problems with the Common Core program that is being pushed forward?

Why is there no one saying "Hey let's check into WHY so many school districts & states are fighting this Common Core & slow down on putting this into our already troubled schools since there is the known issue of it Lowering the Standards for Education & Creating a Bigger Student Achievement Gap & a Brain Drain as Knowledgeable Parents Pull Their Children Out of Public School for other Options that Do Not Have These Common Core Lesson Plans in Place"?
