Question - Did you know that Windsor is an ICLEI Town Member?

When we made the decision to buy our own home here in Windsor we did not know that the town had been signed up into ICLEI; in fact only in the past year have I been hearing about ICLEI & what it does vs what it says.

As renters we didn't pay much attention to local politics & if there was ever an announcement about voting to join we may have missed it - if it occurred after we moved into our home we most likely missed any announcements due to the shock that comes the 1st 2 years of being a new homeowner & getting used to all those things that homeowners do that renters never think about because the landlord takes care of all those things 

At the Shad Derby most people did not know what ICLEI was & even fewer were aware that Windsor was a member. The 1 person who both knew what ICLEI was/is & that Windsor was signed on as a member says that he does not know how to get us out of ICLEI.

Was Windsor joining ICLEI put up for a Town-wide vote or was this just the decision of a select few?
