Question - 3 Question Ballot Possible?
Since we are unable to Split the budget vote without a major ordeal of a charter change which sounds like that will be long & drawn out
Can we have a 3 Question Ballot to help guide the process?
I found this over on the Mansfield Patch
" Are you in favor of the budget as adopted on May 14, 2013?
408 Yes 453 No

If the budget is defeated, is the town budget portion too high or too low?
515 Too High 255 Too Low

At least it would clearly state what is driving the votes - if all future Budget Ballots would be put forward in this manner the Town Council & the BoE would know where they need to do the work
A 3 Question Ballot like above shouldn't require a Town Charter Change because the Vote on the actual Combined Budgets is still there but adding the 2 questions it clarifies by showing the margins of Too High vs Too Low
