Yes it's the height of the summer vacations... who wants to think about Nov

But in just over a week we head back to the voting booths to vote on another budget proposal with pending ReVals due to hit us & after just getting hit with more state taxes thrust upon us by the powers that be at the capitol

Now is the time to start thinking about who you will be supporting in Nov

Are you happy with our beautiful small town being turned into Hartford with the plans that are being put forward & pushed through?

Are you happy with the tax money being spent on pet projects that benefit only a select few but not the actual general taxpaying residents as a whole?

Are you happy with backroom deals that exclude the public & do not benefit the taxpaying homeowners whose taxes keep going up?

Are you happy with the actions of the BoE & their insistence upon spending more & more money yet the number of resident students decreases while their refusal to prosecute those stealing the taxpayers money & allowing for non-resident students to remain in our schools goes unchallenged?

These are just a few questions that during some of your vacation time sunbathing next to your pool while surfing on your personal ipads & sipping on your cold cocktails waiting for your lobsters & steaks to finish grilling you might want to take a few minutes to contemplate.
