Windsor Winter Parking Rules in Effect

Windsor has regulations stipulating when residents can park on the street during the winter months and when it snows.

Windsor Town Manager Peter Souza issued a reminder to residents this week, saying the town's winter parking rules took effect on November 15 and will continue to be in effect until April 15.

The rules stipulate that no car should be parked on the street between the hours of 1 a.m. - 6 p.m. from November 15 to April 15.

While we've yet to experience a significant snowfall this season, it's also important to make note of town regulations regarding street parking during a snow storm.

According to town regulations, no cars should be parked on the street during or after a snow storm lasting more than two hours, as plow trucks will begin to make their way through neighborhoods.
