Windsor School Board Set to Elect New President Tuesday

Newly-elected and re-elected board of education and town council members will be sworn in Tuesday at town hall.

Those elected by Windsor voters will officially begin, or continue, service to the community Tuesday night.


Town council members and board of education members, both newly-elected and re-elected, will be sworn in before the start of Tuesday’s board of education meeting.


Following the swearing-in ceremony, the board of education will meet to, among other duties, elect its new president, vice president and minority leader.

Republican Cristina Santos received the most votes among board of education candidates in last week’s election, followed by Republican Paul Panos.


Republicans won a majority on the board in the Nov. 5 election.

Darleen Klase led Democrats in votes received.
