Windsor Road Work Update

The Town of Windsor brings motorists up to speed.

The Town of Windsor is thanking motorists for their patience as roadwork in town continues. The town provided the following updates on its official Web site:


  • State Department of Transportation's (DOT) milling and paving of Route 159 from Route 218 to Capen Street is ongoing and scheduled for completion in mid-August.
  • MDC repair work on Route 159 and Maple Avenue is ongoing and scheduled for completion in September; town crews will pave Maple Avenue in October.
  • Town of Windsor public works crews have completed milling/paving on several streets since July 8. [View complete list.]

Milling/paving continues on the following roadways:

  • Cottage Street
  • Devin Way
  • Stinson Place

Milling/paving on the following parking lots are slated for completion this summer: 

  • Main Library
  • Section at 330 Windsor Avenue
  • Sharshon Park
  • Wilson Library


Milling/paving work on the following roadways are scheduled for completion this fall:

  • Basswood Road
  • Gary Lynn Circle
  • Kendrick Lane
  • Mary Catherine Circle
