The Tami Z for the 61st campaign announced the Windsor Republican Town Committee has endorsed Zawistowski for state representative.
The endorsement, Zawistowski's campaign personell said, follows endorsements from the Suffield and East Granby Republican Town Committees.
"I'm pleased the... Windsor Republicans enthusiasciatlly support my candidacy," Zawistowski said. "They recognize, as I do, that the current state legislature and malloy administration is focused on its own agenda and not on the needs of the state's residents. Sadly, Representative O'Brien has lost touch with poeple who have sent her there to serve them."
The key endorsements come just weeks before the Assembly District 61st convention, which is scheduled for May 16 at the .
Zawistowski is the vice chair of the East Granby Board of Finance, a member of the town's economic development commission, and she owns and operates East Granby's Resource Books, LLC.
