Windsor Democrats Nominate Familiar Slate

With nominations held Thurs., July 18, 2013, Windsor Democrats expressed their confidence in the work the party is doing.

Members of Windsor's Democratic party met at Windsor High School Thursday night to nominate candidates for November's municipal election, and they voted to keep things the same.

According to the Hartford Courant, Windsor Democrats nominated a full incumbent slate for November.

Accordingly, November's ballot will include Mayor Don Trinks, Deputy Mayor Al Simon, Bill Herzfeld, Jody Terranova and Randy McKenney for town council.

Additionally, Democratic board of education ballot choices will include Board of Education President Doreen Richardson, Vice President Darlene Klase, Secretary Richard O'Reilly, Leonard Lockhart and Ken Williams.

Ina Forman and Vivian Cicero have been nominated for constable.

The nominated slate is in stark contrast to that nominated by Windsor Republicans, who have presented a group of 10 candidates that includes just four incumbents.
