Wetlands, Planning & Zoning Meetings Moved

Dollar Tree's proposed distribution center will be the hot topic at both meetings.

Regularly scheduled Inland Wetlands and Watercourses, and Town Planning and Zoning Commission meetings have been cancelled, and new meeting times have been scheduled to allow the Wetlands Commission to hold a public hearing on Dollar Tree's proposed one-million-square-foot facility.

The Wetlands Commission has scheduled the public hearing for April 5.

Town Planning and Zoning's regularly-scheduled March 28 meeting has been cancelled and moved to April 10.

On March 6, the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission voted unanimously to accept Dollar Tree's application, and determined the site not to be a wetland or watercourse.
