Party Like You're at the State of the Union

A number of watch parties are being held in the area.

President Barack Obama will present his third State of the Union address Tuesday night.

At 9 p.m. the address will be broadcast on several network television channels, in addition to free streaming online at the White House Web site.

The president's speech comes just as excitement around the republican presidential primary race is surging.That said, both Republicans and Democrats will hang on the the president's words as he presents his plan for the nation over the next 12 months, and gives what could be considered a stump speech to viewing audiences nationwide.
