Town Talks Revaluation of Your Home

Every five years, Windsor must reassess the value of Windsor homes. The town is answering questions and concerns of its residents.

Every five years, the town is required to assess the value of real property in town in an effort to maintain a proper relationship between property taxes and market value of that property.

Accordingly, Windsor residents should receive a letter in the mail this month, revealing the newly-assessed value of their homes.

According to the town, Vision Appraisal, a property appraisal company began conducting visual appraisals of properties throughout town in October.

To address resident concerns or questions, the town has released the above video featuring Town Assessor Lawrence G. LaBarbera.
