Officials Looking for New Developer for Mechanic Street Project

The town has put out an ad on its website, calling for a developer to step up to the plate on a project behind town hall.

The property was scheduled for sale, and the developers failed to secure funding, so the project fell through. The proposal was for a 130-unit apartment complex right next to what will be the high-speed rail line scheduled to be built, and is crucial for the development of town center, and the success of the rail line.
